I Campaigned For My Uncle Because To Me Family Is Everything – Davido

Celebrated Nigerian singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido has revealed that his decision to support his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke in the just concluded Osun governorship election race was motivated by his love for his family.

Davido who campaigned rigorously to ensure that his uncle got the political power he so desired has revealed that he was pushed to pick up the task because he believes family is everything. He added that he also believes his uncle and his team are the right people for the job and will prove with results very soon.

“I campaigned for my Uncle because to me family is everything and we are the best people for the job. Give us one or two years and you’ll see,” the hitmaker said after the win.

Davido’s uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke was announced the winner of the Osun governorship election after he managed to rake in 404,371 votes.
