Miodrag Jesic, a former football player who subsequently became a football coach, perished in a tragic car accident.
In the southern region of Srem, on the road between Ruma and Jarak, a traffic accident claimed the life of the former Partizan head coach.

Miodrag Jesic Car Crash Incident
The incident took place in a remote area of the village of Jarak. Traffic was diverted as long lines of cars formed on the main road.
We discovered that the truck driver, who suffered just minor injuries, told the authorities that he “couldn’t avoid a Citroen that flew under.”

Only three kilometers from the scene of the horrible accident where Miodrag Jesic perished, the police stopped traffic at a roundabout on the road to Sabac.
We heard rumors that his car had been towed to Ruma. The area where the accident occurred has been cleaned up
Miodrag Jesic Cause of Death
According to reports, Miodrag Jesic car “flew” under a truck and he died on the spot.
There are no further information available in regards to the car crash of Miodrag Jesic yet. However, medico topics have been trying to reach out to the family and relatives for comment on the incident.

Who was Miodrag Jesic?
Miodrag Jesic was a Serbian football manager and player.
He was born in Oseenica, played for Partizan from 1974 until 1985, appearing in 342 games and tallying 81 goals in all competitions.
As a Player
Miodrag Jesic played with Altay SK from 1985 to 1989, where he amassed 136 matches and 29 goals, before capping his career in 1989–1990 at Trabzonspor with 37 matches and 9 goals overall.
Due to his perceived guilt for Rdvan Dilmen’s injury sustained in 1990 during a league game between Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor, Jei was abhorred by Fenerbahçe supporters.
Despite sixteen surgery, Rdvan never fully healed, and after suffering through years of injury, he was forced to retire in 1995 from Fenerbahçe.
In addition, Miodrag Jesic has set a record for bookings during his time in the Turkish Süper Lig. His adversaries dubbed him “Kasap Yeşiç,” which translates to “Jesic the Butcher,” after alleging that he wounded numerous players in Turkey.
He participated in eight games for the Yugoslav national team, scoring twice.
As a Serbian football manager
As a manager, Miodrag Jesic started his career in 1993 with FK Obili, leading them to the Yugoslav Cup final.
He later managed various other Serbian teams, including his home team Partizan and OFK Beograd, who set a club record by scoring 111 goals in a single season.
UEFA Champions League
In UEFA Champions League qualifiers, he also defeated Flora (6-0, 4-1) and Rijeka (3-1, 3-0).
After managing Tunisian team CS Sfaxien in 2000–01 and winning the Arab Champions League, he travelled to Turkey in 2002 and was in charge of Turkish club Altay before moving to Bulgaria in 2003 to take charge of Slavia Sofia, Iranian Pegah Gilan, and finally CSKA Sofia.
During this time, he won the Bulgarian championship, defeated Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round, and defeated Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Cup. He ranked as the best coach for the 2004–05 season by a sports daily in Bulgaria.
Bulgarian Cup
He was hired as Partizan’s coach for the second time in his coaching career in May 2006. But after a lacklustre first half of the year, he quit the team in January 2007. He has been Litex Lovech’s coach since November 2007. Litex won the Bulgarian Cup alongside him.
He joined Romanian Liga I newcomers CS Otopeni in June 2008, however, after a string of losses, his contract was prematurely terminated on August 18, 2008. He agreed to a one-year deal with FK Budunost Podgorica of the Montenegrin First League in September 2008.
Libyan Super Cup
He agreed to a one-year deal with Al-Ittihad Tripoli of the Libyan First League in July 2009. Al Ittihad defeated Tarsana 3-2 to claim the Libyan Super Cup on September 22, 2009.
On June 16, 2010, Hao Wei was replaced as manager of Changsha Ginde by Miodrag Jesic. He succeeded Hamid Derakhshan as head coach of Shahrdari Tabriz F.C. on June 19, 2011, but the team fired him on December 24, 2011.
2012 – 2014
Miodrag Jesicwas appointed the new head coach of the Saudi Professional League team Najran on June 24, 2012.
After taking over for Stoycho Mladenov as manager of CSKA Sofia on January 7, 2013, Miodrag Jesic was unexpectedly relieved of his duties on March 11, 2013, just two games into his tenure, one of which the team won. He was on the verge of taking over as head coach of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC in late 2013.
Darko Obradovi assisted Miodrag Jesic in his new role as head coach of Litex Lovech on March 31, 2014.
2017 – 2022
He was announced as Al-player Ettifaq’s on June 14, 2017, in the Saudi Professional League. He lost his job on December 10, 2017.
The Egyptian powerhouse Ismaily SC named Miodrag Jesic as the team’s next head coach on August 31, 2019, taking Mahmoud Gaber’s place.
Al-Shoulla of the Saudi First Division League named Miodrag Jesic as the team’s new manager on July 7, 2022. After 5 games, Miodrag Jesic was fired on September 29, 2022.
