Jeff Manning’s passing was announced on the Facebook page of the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office, NM. The statement reads,
“It’s with a heavy heart that we inform our community that our SJCSO family has lost one of our own. Reserve Deputy Jeff Manning passed away this past weekend from a medical emergency. Our staff escorted him home from Denver on Sunday and have provided a 24-hour guard while his family prepares to lay him to rest.”
Sheriff Shane Ferrari said, “The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office offers its deepest condolences to the Manning family”
“Deputy Manning could always be counted on when we needed him, regardless of the time or place. He was a great man and a highly respected leader in our community.” the statement added.
