How Did Athena Strand Die? Texas Missing Girl Cause of Death Revealed

Athena Strand is a seven years old girl who has been murdered.

According to Sherriff Lane Akin, her body was discovered Friday, December 2, 2022.

The body was discovered 6 miles from her residence.

From digital evidence and confession, Police say Athena was taken by contract driver of a FedEx Truck.

It has also been detected that she died within an hour of her abduction.

Tanner Lynn Horner who is aged 31 has been identified as the driver. He has since been detained at the Wise county jail.

Tanner is said to have delivered a box to Athena’s residence and may have abducted her in the driveway.

According to Sherriff Lane, Tanner sent the Police to two bogus places before he gave them the right direction.

Tanner had no acquitances with Athena and her family and therefore cannot tell what the reason for the crime is.

Athena Strand is 7 years old.

Tanner Lynn Horner works with FedEx. He is the only suspect linked with the death of Athena Strand. According to security personnel, Tanner directed then to where Athena’s body was after taking the to two bogus sites earlier.

Sheriff Akin says of the family of Athena that “They’re distraught.” They are upset as a result of what took place, which was the removal of a priceless kid from their lives.
