FPE SU ELECTION: Comr. Rufai Lukman SIWES Elected SU President, 9 others emerged winners.

It all started with a lot of politicking, playing mind games, studying the game of politics with care. Then the time ripped.

The struggle for power was a serious battle in Federal Polytechnic Ede yesterday among all aspiring candidates vying for posts at the SUL level as all departments tried retributing their Political anger and aggressiveness on other departments.

NAIJAPARY Reporter G.song gathered that the Student’s of Federal Polytechnic Ede yesterday, has elected a new President to run the affairs of the student’s Union , he is comr. Rufai lukman Popularly and Politically address as SIWES, of the Department of Computer Engineering, school of Engineering.

It was gathered that the newly elected Students’ Union President polled a total of 2,995 votes to defeat his contestant from the school of Business Studies Comr. Rasak Ayanlakin popularly known as Democrat who also polled a total vote of 2005.

For the Vice President office, comr. Alive from the school of environmental defeated her contenders lady comr. Barbie Tee and lady Comr. Colossus with 3055 votes while her runner up lady comr. Barbie Tee was next with a total vote of 1471 and lady comr. Colossus with just 485 votes.

For the race of the Welfare Director Comr. Adex outshined over his counterpart comr. Aregbe, Adex polled a total vote of 2,739 to Aregbe’s 2232 votes.

Dr. Kyln polled a total vote of 2,627 to defeat his contestant comr. Jega who polled 2,354 for the post of financial secretary.

For the sport Director,comr. Wallington defeated his contender after amassing a total votes of 2,798 to himself while his contestant comr. MD economy secured a total votes of 1,974.

For the post of treasurer and General secretary unopposed kaybright and Comr. Decorum won with a total votes of 4,835 and 4,851 respectively.

Similarly, for publicity relations officer unopposed comr. Charis vic emerged winner with a total votes of 4,812.

For Assistant General Secretary, unopposed Mhiz Royal was declared the winner with a total votes of 4,677.

While paushe emerged winner for the post of social director with a total votes of 4,714.

In another development, we also gathered that students of Federal polytechnic Ede yesterday commended the Independent Students Electoral Commission (ISEC) seating in the School for conducting a free, fair and transparent to all election.
