FPE: Students’ Union [Freedom Crew] One Year In Office (Achievements So far)
This administration maintained that despite the ravaging COVID-19 pandemic, the administration has remained focused.
According to Freedom crew, the present administration in the polytechnic under Ajibade Quazeem has critically implemented and executed impactful policies on its core priorities as outlined in the president’s blueprint when he was sworn in as the union president of the polytechnic.
“To whom much is given, much is expected” says a wise man
August 29, 2019 continues to remain fresh in our memory. It marks the successful birth of freedom, liberty, solidarity and autonomy that our dear students deserve.
August 29 witnesses the emergence of Studentocracy Agenda “the government of the students, by the students and for the students”
This, however, gives no oppressors breathing space to intimidate students and also earns enemies of students no say in our’ Union activities. It brings back the union to rightful owners – students. Never again shall we be regarded as tenants in our own home. Liberation, freedom, liberty and an intimidation free campus has emanated. Please tell a man to tell a man; and let that man too tell another man.
Before August 29, 2019, we persuaded the students’ populace for this mandate with the intention to innovative and dynamically transform our dear union.
Positively we have not come to seek fame, name or to negotiate students interests. Whatever foods negotiations bring to our table will vanish sooner or later; therefore we have chosen to walk the most honorable path of sincerity and common respect.
FPE students trust our attitude for no intimidation; our solemn belief in Scientific Aluta, to safeguard mandate students have given us and to stay far away from attitudes that can betray students trust reposed in us.
We are trusted radicals but more than mere radicalism, our diplomacy and intellectualism at appropriate time has been of great advantage to achieving a lot more since we were sworn into office on the 7th of November, 2019
Unlike a snake that passed through a solid rock leaving no impact, the freedom crew is extremely unique. We have been working harmoniously with the management and all necessary stakeholders internally and externally to achieve our aim of catapulting our dear union to the desired state.
As we look forward to making more impacts when school finally resumes, it is very germane to remind the students’ populace of the remarkable records we have brought to our dear union so far
