FPE: CBT exams will commence tomorrow as scheduled, Deputy Rector academics Dr. Petirin affirmed

Federal Polytechnic Ede Deputy Rector Academics, Dr Petinrin has today revealed to a Press correspondent that all requisites have been met in order to conduct the Computer-Based Test (CBT) exams for students.

In his words, he assured that no stone has been left unturned to ensure smooth and stress-free exams.

Recall that CBT exams scheduled to be held simultaneously with POP exams was abruptly suspended indefinitely due to some uncharacteristic display of displeasure by students who frowned at the dysfunctional schedule and handling of the CBT exam.

Meanwhile, he also reiterated the need for students calmness and showcase of adorning character throughout the exams as the motto of the school symbolizes.

He stressed that, “if students exhibit any act of indiscipline as they did in the last one that resulted to the suspension of the cbt exam, the management would be forced to do justice to such students”.

Furthermore, he called on students’ leadership and other stakeholders to pull forces together to assure that the CBT exams come to fruition and quench the fire of violence that may disrupt the peaceful conduct of the exam.

In compliance with the Covid-19 protocols, he urged students to adhere strictly to the precautions in order to contain the spread of the deadly virus.

“Students are implored to sanitize their hands and use face masks at the CBT venue during the course of the exam”, he concluded.
