Former Osun Speaker, Adejare Bello Exits PDP, Says Party Hijacked (See Resignation Letter)
A former Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Adejare Bello has dumped the the People’s Democratic Party in the state and may take membership of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Hon. Bello confirmed his exit in a letter of resignation of membership he forwarded to the Osun PDP chairman through the party leaders at the ward and local government.
The letter, signed by Hon. Bello disclosed that the reason for dumping PDP is because the party had been allegedly hijacked by some persons.
“It is my sincere belief that some elements have hijacked the rudders of the ship of the party and changed its cause to an unknown path which I am not ready to take,” Bello stated in the letter.
Meanwhile, yet to be confirmed report has it that the former Speaker may pitch his political tent within the fold of the APC.
