Finalissima: Messi and Lamine Yamal to Face Off

The epic showdown between the Copa America and Eurocup champions will take place in 2025.

As if it were written in the stars, Spain won the Eurocup and Argentina did the same against Colombia to become Copa America champions. This means Lamine Yamal and Lionel Messi will finally face off.

It will be in the second edition of the Finalissima, a match between the champions of the Eurocup and the Copa America.

The first edition took place in 2022 between Argentina and Italy, with the “Scaloneta” lifting the title to the sky of London after defeating the Azzurra 3-0.

Date and Venue for Finalissima

As of now, there is no defined date or venue for the second edition, but after the success of the first, the Spain vs. Argentina match is a reality.

The first edition was held in June 2022, so a similar date in 2025 can be expected.
