FED POLY HOTELITES LAMENT OVER LEAKING HOSTEL ROOFS AFTER WATER SCARCITY RESOLUTION BY MANAGEMENT

Not a gainsaying that residing in the school hostel of federal polytechnic Ede was once considered to be a matter of pride, but the current-day scenario does not seem to live up to its legacy and reputation.

FPE PRESS Reporter G.song gathered that following the outcry of water scarcity by the hostelite of Atiku Abubakar hostel, Esther Adeleke Hostel and simbiat hostel of federal polytechnic Ede.

The situation, which was well blotted out by the management of the institution through the directive of the directorate of student’s affair in delivering a comfortable living to the dear hostelite of the School.

Following this significant development, the hostelite yesterday continued to show their concern on the leakage of hostels roofs which is becoming devastating,the hostelite while speaking with reporter G.song lamented soberly that “most of the dormitories had leaking roof, the roofs of the hostels are leaking and this cause accumulation of water inside the hostel” the hostelite.

However beseech the management to repair the damage roofs to secure the lives of the students.

According to olamide who disclosed to Reporter G.song that “the Saturday heavy rain left us in a pool of water that we could not sleep” while commending the management for the step taken in bringing normalcy back to the water shortage brouhaha.

However implore the management to take a ground – breaking step in repairing the long leaking roofs of the hostels which has been a threat to the hostelites.
