Fed Poly Ede Student Drinks ‘Poison’, Over Poor Semester Result

A final year female student of Federal Polytechnic Ede, Statistics Department, has reportedly attempted to take her own life by drinking a substance said to be ‘Poison’ on July 24 over academic withdraw in recently released first semester examination results.

Naijaparry had reported earlier that the female student attempted suicide on Wednesday evening, by drinking ‘break oil’.

The victim ingested the substance on Wednesday in the hostel where she lived.

The student was currently battling for her life at LAUTECH Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife after drinking the substance, break oil.

This online news platform recalls that management released the first semester results earlier today.

Com. Karimot (Alive) when confirmed the incident for Naijaparry said that the victim was in a stable condition as at time of filing this report.
