Fed Poly Ede 2nd Semester Resumption Still Remains 25th Of May – DSA

As most students have completed the first semester examination, so many questions are addressed by the polytechnic students to the NAIJAPARRY confirming the actual date of the second semester resumption.

Our correspondent just confirmed via a phone call with the DSA, Mr Adelabu I. T. that the resumption date still remains what is on the school 2018/2019 Academic calender which is 25th of May. He further clarified that the date may or may not be shifted if a meeting is held by the management board concerning the resumption date.

Students should recollect that the very short break is caused by the 2-months ASUP strike action that occurred two weeks after the commencement of the first semester and also, first semester breaks are usually short.

Students also plead to the authority for the extension of the break until after the ongoing Ramadan fasting and urge the management to be considerate towards the Nigerian students.

While hoping that the voice of the students should be heard and resumption date should be postponed, we hereby urge all students to stay connected as we won’t hesitate to keep you informed if there is any development.
