In 1996, Eedris Abdulkareem started his music career as a hip hop rapper. He was signed to Kennis Music record label alongside with 2Face Idibia. He rap mostly in Pidgin English and is popularly known for criticizing the Nigerian government with his music due to the high rate of corruption in Nigeria.
During the regime of President Olusegeun Obasanjo, many of his hit singles where ban from broadcasting on radio and television stations in Nigeria due to the fact that his music focuses mostly on attacking and criticizing the Nigerian government.
He performed with hip-hop band popularly known as “The Remedies” from 1997 until they split and went solo in 2002. He continued as a solo artist and released the album “Pain and Stress = Success” (P.A.S.S.) in 2002.
