Ede Poly Student Gave Birth To This Strange Baby, Calls On Community For Help (SEE PHOTOS)
NAIJAPARY Reporter, G.song gathered that a student of Federal Polytechnic Ede named Ibrahim Nafisat who lives in a hostel around agbale gave birth to a baby with hydrocephalus, a condition often referred to as accumulation of water in the head.
Our correspondent G.song amassed that doctors have diagnosed her baby Aliya with hydrocephalus (a condition often referred to as water in head) often Caused by a build up of cerebrospinal fluid, the brain typically produces a pint of this fluid, which protects the brain by removing waste products and providing nutrients.
But when the cerebrospinal fluid doesn’t sufficiently drain, it can place pressure on the brain and in young children, whose skulls haven’t fully hardened and fused, it causes swelling.
It gathered that the baby has since had a session of surgery which cost huge amount of money, medical demands the baby another surgery and the parents having scrounged round for medical bill couldn’t afford the exorbitant cost of the surgery, the Mother who is a student of Federal Polytechnic Ede hopes for surgery for her baby whose head has swollen to twice the natural size of an average baby.
She therefore appeal to well-to-do individual to come to the aid of the baby who is in need of fund for another surgical operation.
