EDE POLY: Question not taught, Students leave exam hall amidst chaos
Computer Science students of Federal Polytechnic, Ede sitting for COM 216 have walked out of their respective examination halls, this morning, Ngnews247 learnt.
The examination which was slated for 9am Tuesday, January 18, 2022 has been abruptly cancelled due to agitation shown by students sitting for the paper.
In our interview with students from the department, an ND II DPT student said; “The woman (lecturer meant to take the course) did not come to our class and she set questions we do not know. Even though we had prepared for the exam with past questions, she didn’t set any question from there.”
Another student from ND II Full Time told the PRESS that; “The question was beyond what even the scholar could answer. The question was even out of the course outline, and what was taught in class.”
A third respondent to the PRESS questioned why they had bought textbook and course material if examination questions would not be set from them.
PRESS correspondent at the scene confirmed from the concerned students that the examination for the course – Troubleshooting said to be taken by Mrs Babafemi – has been cancelled by the Dean of the faculty.
