Ede Poly News: School Portal Reopened

This is to notify and inform the entire students that the school management of The Federal Polytechnic Ede under the direction of Dr. J.T Adekolawole has reopened the school portal which was closed on 22nd March, 2019 after the intervention of the Students’ Union Government under the leadership of Comrade Rufai Lukman SIWES.

Few days ago, the students’ union government released a press statement not only to draw the attention of the students populace to the closure of the portal but to appeal to the school management on the closure of the portal, clearly stating problems faced by some students in the course of registration and later sought for an extension of the registration deadline. We feel elated as leaders of the union that our appeal was acknowledged and honored by the management and the deadline has been postponed.

As we appreciate the management team ably led by Dr. J.T Adekolawole, an unrepentent lover of students and a core humanitarian for their attentiveness and rare spirit of consideration, we hereby implore students (members of the union) who have not paid their tuition fees or have not completed their registration exercise to pay and work towards the completion of registration exercise before the closure of the portal.

We have resolved as union leaders to focus more on students related issues and pursue the interests of the students diligently. We received a baton of trust and hope which has become a responsibility for us to bear. Who gave us this baton of trust and hope? Students. The students community gave us this baton and we have resolved to deliver on the promises of freedom and liberation.

We thank you all for the mandate and trust. As we continue to tow the path of freedom, ceaseless agitations and standing in defense of the rights of every student irrespective of status, we implore every student to remain committed to their academics, primary duty of every responsible student and make our great citadel of learning proud.
