Dr. Ahmad BUK: Renowned Islamic Scholar, dies at 79

A renowned Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Bamba is dead

Ngnews247 reports that Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Bamba popularly known as Dr Ahmad BUK died at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital after a protracted illness.

His son Ahmad Muhammad Ahmad announced the passage of his father on his verified Facebook page on Friday.

It said funeral prayer for the deceased would hold at Darul Hadith Mosque, Tudun Yola , in Kano metropolis by 1.30pm.

Late Dr. Ahmad was a lecturer at the Department of Arabic in BUK before he resigned and went fully into Islamic preaching.
