Days after his arrest, online comedian, The Cute Abiola has been released

It’s exactly 4 days after Nigerian online comedian and Naval Officer, Abdulgafar Abiola popularly known in his comic skits as The Cute Abiola was arrested in Lagos by Nigerian Navy for posing with his official Naval uniform on his birthday. He has been released.

Cute Abiola took to his social media pages to shared an appreciation message to his family, friends, fans and indeed armed forces for their help and prayers throughout his days in Nigerian Navy’s custody.

He also made it known that he is still a Naval Officer as against the rumours that have been flying round after his arrest on April 29 that he will be stripped of his duties and possibly sacked.

He tweeted;
