She wrote,
“With enormous sadness I announce the passing of #MissItalia 1966 Daniela Giordano.”
“We want to remember her with great affection, smiling and happy together with her fellow Misses of that year and also with my father Enzo. All of us in the competition gather around the family.”

Giordano Daniela was cremated. She wished for her ashes to be buried in the sea off Mondello, the town where she had lived and originally won the title of Miss Palermo, according to the Little Mermaid local history.

Film Career
Giordano made her film debut in 1967 with Marcello Ciorciolini’s I Barbieri di Sicilia, a Franco & Ciccio production. She had worked in a variety of genres, such as poliziottesco, spaghetti westerns, commedia all’italiana, and commedia sexy all’italiana.
When Giordano resigned from acting in 1980, Gérard Loubeau’s Secrets d’adolescentes, which starred Brigitte Lahaie, briefly put an end to her career.
