With the Darebin Falcons of the Victorian Women’s Football League (VWFL), Pearce started her state league career in 2005. She captained the team from 2008 to 2016 and participated in almost 200 games before her final game in 2017.

She has won five Darebin best and fairest awards and seven league best and fairest awards in the VWFL and VFL Women’s (VFLW) tournaments. She has played in 10 Premierships, seven of them as captain.

She was selected by Melbourne with the first pick in the first national women’s draft in 2013 for the first women’s exhibition game. She represented Victoria at both the under-19 and senior levels.

Prior to the 2017 season of the AFL Women’s, Pearce was a high-profile acquisition for Melbourne.

Pearce is a three-time AFL Women’s All-Australian at the AFLW level. She was selected captain in the 2017 squad and vice-captain in the 2018 team. In season seven, she led Melbourne to its first AFL Women’s championship.

She has won the Melbourne Best and Fairest award three times and the AFLPA AFLW Best Captain award four times. In 2023, Pearce started her coaching career with the AFL side of Geelong as a development coach.
