Chelsea Fail To Beat Southampton At Home
Chelsea fans were left disappointed as their team failed to beat Southampton at home, St amford Bridge in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Blues looked set to secure three points as they led 3-2 but Southampton scored an injury-time equaliser as the game finished 3-3.
Summer signing Timo Werner scored his first Premier League goals to give Chelsea a comfortable two-nil lead. But the visitors fought back and were rewarded with two goals.
Another summer signing Kai Havertz restored the lead for Chelsea, but again, the Blues defence failed to do their job as Southampton snatched a point.
Chelsea are now a point adrift of top four spot having played a game more.
