Charles Olumo or Agbako’s real name is Alhaji Abdulsalam Sanyaolu, and he was born on July 9, 1923, in Ogun State, Western Nigeria. He was sent to school, as were most of his mates at the time; and so he attended the primary school in his hometown of Egba-Owode, Ogidan and then he went to Lisabi Grammar School in Abeokuta.
