Celebrities dazzle and fight for best dressed at Gangs of Lagos movie premiere

For celebrities, the red carpet is where they get to show their love for fashion and how fashionable they are while sticking to the theme.

Thursday night was no exception, as many celebrities brought in their A-games at the premiere of Gangs of Lagos, which was held on Thursday night, April 6th.

 

Award-winning Nigerian filmmaker, Jade Osiberu held the premiere of her highly anticipated movie, Gangs of Lagos which had celebrities in attendance.

The movie which is set in Isale Eko, Lagos, follows a group of childhood friends as they navigate their destiny in a bustling city. The film features a star-studded cast, including Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Chiké, Tobi Bakre, Bimbo Ademoye, and more.

The movie which is set to premiere on April 7th exclusively on Prime Video, is the first African original movie, premiering on the streaming platform.

Celebrities didn’t fail to slay on the red carpet as they channeled their gangster personality.

The premiere was star-studded as the likes of Toke Makinwa, Funke Akindele, Ruth Kadiri, Osas Ighodaro, Adesua Etomi and husband, Banky W, Chioma Akpotha, Ufuoma McDermott, Nse Ikpe were in attendance.

Also in attendance were Bisola Aiyeola, Toolz, Bimbo Ademoye, Tobi Bakre, Adunni Ade, BBNaija’s Khloe, Hermes, Boma Akpore, and many others.

Bimbo Ademoye, who is one of the casts of the movie, went all out for the event with her headpiece.

Osas Ighodaro stole the event with her jumpsuit and enchanting smile.

Funke Akindele made her first red carpet debut on the movie premiere, following her failed governorship bid.
