In 1967, Grant was hired as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings of the NFL. He quickly turned the struggling team around, leading them to the first of four Super Bowl appearances in 1970. Over the course of his 18-year tenure as head coach, Grant led the Vikings to 11 division titles and two NFC championships, cementing his place as one of the most successful coaches in NFL history.
