Esther “Banty” Temiwunmi is a Nigerian singer, music, technology and gaming enthusiast from Warri, Delta State. She is a Top 12 contestant on Nigerian Idol Season 7 in 2022.

She surprised the Judges with her soulful voice which they didn’t see coming and continued to give superb performances back to back. She started singing when she was 8-years-old and has performed mainly at church since then.

Banty hopes Nigeria falls in love with her personality and says her family will be most proud of her achievement. She sites passing her ‘vibe check’ with D’banj as her happiest moment during Theatre Week and tags him her favourite Judge.

This music, tech and gaming enthusiast knew she wanted to be a singer because she always sang regardless of what she was busy with.
