Naijapary Reporter G.song gathered that Federal Polytechnic Ede curriculum has witnessed many administrative changes since its creation since 1992,one of which is the introduction of summer programme to the school curriculum however the importance each has attached to the educational system to some tremendous and otiose impact while to others an acerbity,adjunct and inimical on education.

As Controversies Continue raging amidst Students of Federal Polytechnic Ede in Osun State over the abrogation of the Summer programme, the summer programme is a way for defaulted Students to retake a class and exams found difficult, take a certain class they couldn’t take during the school year, or become more prepared for tertiary Institution most cases, getting a head-start on prerequisites and polytechnic classes.

Similarly, a Senior administrative Staff at Federal Polytechnic Ede who don’t want his name on print on tuesday expressed outrage over a media publication claiming that the management had reinstated the summer exercise.

While speaking with NAIJAPARY reporter the senior Staff on Wednesday said “this is federal institution for God’s sake and not private institution,the private tertiary institutions conducts summer programme for students, here is public,the authority of the school would not back down on the planned abolition of summer programmes and no going back”

Further disclosed to our media correspondent G.song that “Successful people do not reach success because they never fail but rather because no matter how many times they fail, they opt to continue trying, so students in that shoe should be encourage rather than being discouraged”

He however admonish the students to get the message and get their axe together before it’s too late .
