ASUU & FG to Meet Again Today, See Outcome of their Meeting

ASUU STRIKE: Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and Federal Government (FG) set to Meet again Today, Thursday 10th January 2019. See Outcome of their Meeting below.

On Monday 7th January, the Federal Government (FG) said they released N35.4b to Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) in efforts to end the ongoing ASUU STRIKE .

Reacting to this, ASUU President said they (ASUU) will have meeting with the union’s National Executive Committee (NEC) and review the new commitment.

That same day (after the
meeting), the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, said the union will get back to them (FG) today Thursday 10th January to sign relevant document reached.

Meanwhile, yesterday, Daily Post and Tribune reported that ASUU said they didn’t reach an agreement with Federal Government (FG).
