André Onana Early Life and Education
Andre Onana, born in April 2, 1996, Nkol Ngok, Onana was from a struggling home in the heart of Cameroon in which his parents found it hard but ensured they were able to earn ends meet whilst raising him. Despite the low state, Onana attained his basic education in his home town with his interest also in football.
Onana admired football from a little age then he joined Barcelona from the Samuel Eto’o Academy at the age of 14 in 2010. Because he was under 18 and a non-EU citizen, Onana had to go on loan in the 2012–13 season to the youth team of Cornellà, before being loaned again the next season to the first-team of Vista Alegre.

Onana began his professional career at Ajax in 2015, where he won the Eredivisie title and the KNVB Cup. In 2022, he joined Inter Milan on a free transfer. He has since won the Supercoppa Italiana and the Coppa Italia with the club.
Onana has also represented Cameroon at various levels, including the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He announced his retirement from international football in December 2022, but later reversed his decision and was recalled to the squad in August 2023.
He joined Manchester United in the summer of 2023 after his scintillating spell at Inter Milan with an outstanding final when he faced Pep Guardiola’s side in the 2023 UEFA Champions league final, but has since not been able to replicate such form at Manchester United.
