Again, 16-year-old Girl Killed In Akinyele

Another sixteen-year-old girl, Toke, has reportedly been murdered by yet-to-be identified assailants at Onikoko area along Ibadan/Oyo express road in Akinyele local government.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased was attacked and killed on Monday and her corpse was discovered on Tuesday.

Toke’s murder is coming after the State Police Command arrested multiple suspects, including an herbalist, in relation to the series of killings in Akinyele.

The Oyo state police command’s public relations officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi who confirmed the incident, said the case was a suspected murder and the perpetrators of the evil act are still at large.

However, he said the state police. commissioner, CP Joe Enwonwu has ordered an immediate investigation into the incident.
