Isaac Adedayo Omolafe (born 4th April, 1972), a member of the House of Representatives representing Akure North/South federal constituency of Ondo State.

Omolafe, popularly known as ‘Expensive’ was formerly a chairman of Akure South local government area of the State. He was member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Adding to these, he was also responsible for the Electrification of the popular Imafon, the Igbatoro community. This area has been neglected for several years before receiving the present support from the lawmaker.

During the Covid-19 lockdown, Hon. Omolafe Adedayo saw to the Palliatives distribution during 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic. This 7-day long exercise reached out to 23 wards, orphanages, Markets, Lepers’ colony, Youths & Students bodies, religious & traditional institutions, Radio stations, etc.

In the 2nd half of the year 2020, he facilitated the Multi-million Naira empowerment programmes to boost businesses of young entrepreneurs; Skills acquisition training for more than 400 constituents with take-off grants to kick start businesses; Various loans at an advanced stage for disbursement to farmers & young industrialists.

Omolafe, popularly called “Expensive” died in Akure, the capital city of Ondo state in early hours of Monday, August 16, 2021.

“He was unconscious last night (Sunday night) and rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Owo,” a source said.

He reportedly died around 2 am on Monday morning at his Abuja residence.
