Actor Baba Ijesha caught on CCTV defiling 14-year-old girl, fans express disappointment

Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has been arrested by the Lagos state police over the case of defilement of a 14-year-old girl.

According to a tweet shared by the police on Twitter, the case of defilement was reported against the 48-year-old actor on April 19, 2021, by one Princess Adekola Adekanya.

It was gathered that the popular comic actor had been committing the shameful act against the minor since she was seven years old.

The Lagos state police explained further that Baba Ijesha was captured by a CCTV camera and that he has already confessed to the crime.

After the news made the rounds on social media, Nigerians were quick to react to it. A great number of people expressed their disappointment in the veteran actor whom they had grown to love.
