A Nigerian polytechnic student surprised his female lecturer in class with a rose, and netizens had some thoughts.
In the TikTok, he arrived at class, got on one knee, and gave his lecturer a note, complemented with a rose.
The note read; ”Are you a camera? Because as I look at you I smile. Happy Valentine’s day!”
There have been mixed reactions following the video; many said the gesture might be because the lecturer was simply a kind person, and some remarked that it was an inappropriate gesture between a student and a lecturer.
The lecturer appeared flattered and accepted the token, then she patted the young man on the back in an appreciative gesture.
