He attended University of Copenhagen. His most famous performance was as Ivar the Boneless in the historical drama Vikings on television (2016–2020).

Initially rose to recognition in 2016 after he was cast as Ivar the Boneless in the History channel’s Vikings. In the Danish television series Tvillingerne & Julemanden, he also played a recurrent part.

Scenen Er Din, a Danish television program, was where he made his acting debut. He played the title character in the Danish drama A War in 2015.
