VIDEO: Fire Guts Bodija Market In Ibadan, Destroys Goods

In the metropolis of Ibadan, Oyo State, a portion of the well-known Bodija market was completely destroyed by fire, NGNEWS247 gathered.

The damaged sites are inside the well-known market, at Ori-Igi, Daleko, and Iso lwà.

One of the damaged merchants, Ganiyu Asimiyu, claimed that the fire, which destroyed a portion of the market at 3 am, originated from an unidentified source.

Isiaka Kafilat, a different aggrieved trader, claimed that the event cost her goods worth roughly 2 million naira, NGNEWS247 reports.

The Oyo state fire service acted quickly to put out the fire before it could spread to other areas of the market.
