The Nigerian police on Wednesday affirmed that they have captured 14 infamous furnished looters suspected to have killed Dr Ibrahim Mailafia, a Senior Lecturer with the Nasarawa State University.
On 3 November, 2017, Dr Mailafia, while coming back to the nation after finish of Doctorate Degree in Artificial Intelligence from the United Kingdom, on his approach to Kano, Kano State to visit his family was assaulted and killed without a second thought on Kaduna – Zaria – Kano expressway by burglars. Jimoh Moshood, Force Public Relations Officer, while parading the suspect in Abuja said the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, had coordinated a tactful examination concerning the murdering to convey culprits to equity.

They admitted to the different criminal parts they played in the murdering of Dr Ibrahim Mailafia and other fierce wrongdoings in the said States.
They will be charged to court on culmination of examination,” he said. The suspects are: Sunday Jatau, Solomon Jatau, Ayuba Jatau, Ishaku Luka otherwise known as Dogo, Ibrahim Daniel, Emmanuel Garba, Alhaji Usman Mohammed, Alhaji Ibrahim Baba, Bello Aliyu, Surajo Mohammed, Hassan Ibrahim, Bature Adamu, Bello Abdullahi and Mamuda Mohammed.
