Buhari arrives Daura for APC ward congress

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari Friday afternoon, travelled to his home town Daura, Katsina State after observing the Juma‘at service at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Buhari’s plane arrived at the Umar Musa Airport in Katsina at about 4:28pm and was received by Governor Aminu Bello Masari.
Other dignitaries at the Airport to receive the President include the state APC chairman, Alhaji Shitu S. Shitu, the senators representing Katsina south and central constituencies, Alhaji Umar Ibrahim Kurfi and Alhaji Abu Ibrahim.

Members of the state executive, security councils, members of the political and business class from the nooks and crannies of the state were also on ground to receive President Buhari at the Airport.

President Buhari returned to Nigeria Thursday night after what his spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu described as ‘technical stopover‘ in London after his meeting with the American President, Donald Trump on Monday. At his country home, he may use the visit to attend the All Progressives Congress, APC, ward congresses taking place this weekend.
