US Consul General names Simi Human Rights Ambassador

The United States Consul General has decorated popular singer, Simi Bolatito Ogunleye ( Simi) , at the US Consulate , Victoria Island, Lagos , as one of the Human Rights Ambassadors from Nigeria in conjunction with Constitutional Rights Awareness and Liberty Initiative .

The singer took to her Instagram page , @ symplysimi to annouce the news .

She said , “ It was , and is , an incredible honour to get a platform that enables me to use my voice to the best of my ability for this cause . ”
