Don’t Rig Election in my Name, Fayose Tells Corps Members

The executive governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose , has charged youth corps members posted to the state to desist from being used by politicians for election purpose.

He was speaking at the swearing-in ceremony of the new posted Youth Corp members in the state.

He said:
‘’If I ask you to rig election for me, please decline. Your parents have spent fortunes on you to be a graduate, you should not disappoint them. Those politicians will never call out their children to die. Don’t allow yourselves to be used’’

The Ekiti elections come up later this year, precisely on July 14, 2018. Preparations are in top gear for the most coveted position in the state, such advice is seen as a worthwhile one coming at the right time.
