Nigerian singer, Simi has urged people to be genuine about their truth.

She gave this nugget on her verified social media handle on photos and videos sharing platform, Instagram.

The post she made reads;

“It’s okay to keep ur boundaries and to keep saying no to things you don’t agree with or believe in, even if everyone else around you is going in the opposite direction. Having a mind of ur own will never be easy.

It’s important to be genuine about your truth. Sometimes you’ll even be wrong. No one is right all the time. But at least, you won’t be fake.

For example, it’s why I like people that don’t like me to my face over someone that smiles at me and talks shit behind my back.

Too many people have ended in shitty lives because they don’t know how to say no when everyone else is saying yes.”

Days ago, the singer gave a warning to bullies who would try to bully her child when she starts school. According to her, she will beat or hire boys to beat anyone who tries it.

Her post reads;

“Deja still has some time before she goes to school, but I wanted to tell you down – if your baby is a bully, please don’t take him/her to Deja’s school, because I fight and I will arrange boys to beat any thug that near my child. Be you 2 years old or more.”
