Recruitment: No Decision On Cut-off Mark Yet – Oyo TESCOM
The Oyo State Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) on Tuesday said it has not yet decided on the cut off mark for its computer based test conducted few weeks ago.
In a statement made available to ngnews247.com, Mrs Grace Olabisi Oderinde, Permanent Secretary of the Commission, said applicants should ignore information going viral over a purported cut off mark.
The statement reads “It has come to the notice of Oyo State Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission of an unathorized information going viral of a purported cut off mark meant to address the cut off mark in respect of CBT examination conducted for our non-teaching staff and other sundry information.
“The Commission wishes to state that no such information ever emanated from the Commission nor any of our Heads of Zone. The public is hereby advised to disregard such information. The Commission is assuring the generality of the people of Oyo State our commitment to a transparent and just process in all our activities.
“Please watch out for the actual news soon….”
On Monday, the Chairman of the Commission, Pastor Akin Alamu, said that 10 percent of applicants who sat for the examination scored 50 and above.
Alamu had hinted that the cut off mark will be subject specific adding that the cut off mark will be made public after the board’s sitting and approval.
