#SAVEDIPO : “WE WOULD GIVE THE MANAGEMENT AN ULTIMATUM SOONEST IF WE DON’T HEAR FROM THEM” – SU PRESIDENT.

The Federal University of Technology Akure Student Union President has disclosed that an ultimatum would be given to the management soonest, if they fail to give a productive response to the Save Dipo campaign.

This was disclosed at the union’s progressive meeting yesterday, where several members of the union feels if the students could task themselves to selfless giving to ensure Adedipupo Hafiz is back on his feet, then they don’t see reasons why members of the university staffs couldn’t do the same.

In the words on an honourable;

“They only strike when they have issues with payment of their salaries, but now that a life us at stake, it seems it’s not bothering them”.

The union president Comrade Olaseinde Adeyinka Williams however advised that since we now have an idea of how has been donated so far, efforts would be charge to know much the FUTA community in entirety has contributed towards the cause.

Finally he said

if the management fails to give a positive response to the contribution of ensuring Lawal Adedipupo Hafiz stands, an ultimatum would be issued, and if not met, struggle would be set in place.
