Amb. Gabriel Oyibode Congratulates President Buhari On His Re-election

The former Senatorial Aspirant for Delta North Senatorial District under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC and Chief Executive officer of Geotag Oil and Gas Limited, Chief Dr Amb. Gabriel Chukwuemaka Etaoghenevwegba Oyibode (JP) has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election.

In a statement signed on Thursday by Comrade Itodje Okiemute Godstime, Chief Press Secretary to Amb. Gabriel Oyibode, in Abuja, Amb. Oyibode said “the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari at the just concluded presidential poll was a reflection of his good and visionary leadership over the last four years”.

“President Buhari has led Nigeria and our party, the All Progressives Congress, to an unprecedented height within four years, and in so doing, he has written the most important chapter of our democracy,” Amb. Oyibode stated.

Amb. Oyibode urged Nigerians to support President Buhari in bringing meaningful developments to our dear country in his second term in office, stressing that the beauty of democracy is the collective responsibilities of citizenry. He asked President Buhari to focus more on war against corruption, insurgency and build enabling environment for investors, and peaceful coexistence.

Amb. Oyibode commended the Independent National Electoral Commission and the security agencies over the conduct of the polls.

President Buhari was declared winner by INEC having polled 15,191,847 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar of Peoples Democratic Party, who scored 11,262,978.
