Reds Striker, Mohamed Salah Invites Blind Football Fan To Meet His Liverpool Heroes (Photos)

A blind Liverpool fan Mike Kearney became a social media sensation when he was captured listening closely as his cousin Stephen Garcia described all the big moments during Liverpool’s Champions League 1-0 win over Napoli.

Reds striker Mo Salah spotted the footage online which showed the pair celebrating as all the action inside Anfield was relayed to him.

Salah, whose winner earned Liverpool a last 16 spot, personally invited them to Melwood to meet the players.

The Egyptian hailed Kearney as “an inspiration” as he showed them around, talking through the recent wins over big rivals Manchester United and Everton.

They also attended the team’s training session as they gear up for the Premier League game with Wolves on Friday night.

As usual, manager Jurgen Klopp offered a warm embrace when they arrived and said: “It’s the famous two!”

Garcia told LFCTV: “It’s just surreal being here.

“It’s just our routine, it’s what we do. I tell him every goal kick, every corner, every throw-in. Obviously he knows when we score because he gets a big hug!

“I always tell him who scored and how the play sort of went then we just react and celebrate. He can hear all the groans if the other team score.”
