With his hometown team Luton Town, Lewis began his football career as a young kid. In 2009, the team won the Aarau Masters, a European 5-a-side Under-11 Championship.

In order to concentrate on his potential as a top-level 800-meter runner, he departed Luton Town in 2013. Lewis signed with Norwich City in 2014 to make his professional football comeback.

He participated in 2016–17 for Norwich’s U23 squad. Lewis renewed his contract till 2021 at the conclusion of the 2016–17 campaign.

Lewis made his varsity debut for Norwich City against Brentford in December 2017, replacing Marco Stiepermann.
