£215M Offer Wasn’t Enough: Salah Could Still Leave Liverpool This Summer

Ramy Abbas Issa, the agent to Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, has hinted that the player could leave the Premier League club.

Salah is currently away with Egypt ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

However, his future at Anfield continues to stir up the rumour mill.

Last summer, it is believed Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad were close to landing Salah.

They reportedly offered him a package worth an eye-popping £215 million, but the transfer eventually fell through.

The 31-year-old is only under contract with Liverpool until June 2025, leaving the club slightly vulnerable to approaches for Salah.

Issa has now replied a post from Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna from March 2023, which reported Salah was “open” to leaving Liverpool that summer and favoured a move to Spain.
