107 Medical doctors volunteer to tackle COVID-19 in Kano
Over 107 Medical Doctors have volunteered to join forces with the Kano state government to fight the Coronavirus pandemic in the state.
The figure was among 5,697 health workers that have registered for the Kano COVID-19 volunteer scheme so far.
Salihu Tanko Yakasai, a Special Adviser, media to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in his verified Twitter handle @dawisu said that the breakdown included 440 nurses and 84 pharmacists.
Yakasai revealed that about 490 lab technicians and 2,690 environmental health officers have also registered for service to fatherland.
